Travel experts advise you to pack light for Europe

We all face the same problems. We tend to over pack. But your packing and your bags will greatly influence how you travel. Don’t we all remember that perfect vacation except with too much stuff to carry? With the fees the airlines now have, the less you bring, the easier your trip will turn out. Unless you have pickup service when you get to the destination, carrying all your bags and trying to get a taxi, or an airport bus will make your 8 hour flight seem much longer. If you can do with one suitcase and one carry on bag for one person, it’ll be the best way to go. Personally I only carry one large backpack now, even going to Europe. Unless you’re attending a college there you don’t need to have fresh daily outfit if you’re just staying there for one week. Bring 3-4 days’ clothes and hand wash them in the hotel.

    Here’s a list of the items that you cannot leave without:

    * Passport
    * Photo ID
    * Flight Tickets/Details
    * Insurance Documents/Medical Cards
    * Money

    This is not an exhaustive list. Other extras that you may need to remember include receipts for accommodation, visas, travel guides and bank account information.
